Sennett Residences
This remarkable penthouse project that clinched the highly commended award at Design Excellence Awards organized by IDCS (Interior Design Confederation Singapore) is a modern contemporary luxury home designed for a tasteful client. Utilizing the architectural details, functional spaces are well-defined yet cohesively one with the whole interior.
Sleek lines and neutral tones give this voluminous space a timeless and casual sophistication. The designer worked with the existing color palette, incorporating organic textures such as timber and marble finishes with charming brass accents to add a touch of opulence, adding character to the roomy interior. Delightful splashes of color are cleverly introduced via the statement rug, house plants, and strategic sunset facing high stools. The clean, uncluttered design of this double-storey living space creates a continuity of space and allows its occupants to enjoy the expansive city panorama, and the openness evokes the magical feeling of floating in the clouds.
8 St. Thomas
This cozy free-flowing apartment was designed as a calming sanctuary for the homeowner to relax and rejuvenate amidst the hectic everyday city life. Hence the brilliant meld of warm and nurturing organic materials such as the glossy marble and wooden textures to add depth and visual interest while evoking the pleasures of homely comfort. Charming accents are introduced via the luxurious gold trimmings and refreshing house plants. The expansive sliding glass doors create a seamless continuity between the interior and exterior while inviting natural light to stream in copiously, and the spacious balcony is where the family can chill out and enjoy the stunning unblocked city view.
Corporate Luxury
Modern and practical, this bespoke corporate office lounge catering to a niche clientele exudes a sense of tranquil luxury with its well-balanced mix of soft earthy tones and neutral hues, making it more relaxed and welcoming than the usual utilitarian offices. This calm and comforting business space with understated contemporary allure is a MUSE 2022 Gold Award winner.
An exploration of texture and light, the conference room is designed to be an exuberant meeting space, achieved with a classy bookmatched feature wall and a majestic marble boardroom table with mesmerizing veining.

Keeping spaces cohesive and allowing a degree of continuity, the design opted for moveable partitions instead of restrictive fixed walls. The vertical slats can be easily configured to allow flexibility for optimal space utilization anytime.
Umami 10
Umami 10, another Muse Design Awards winning project, is a restaurant serving European-inspired Japanese cuisine, offering pleasant surprises both in its interior and culinary craft. Though being inspired by the flamboyant and vibrant owner, the design team had to navigate through some constraints during the design and construction due to its long and narrow layout.
While the shopfront has an unassuming façade, one enters to discover an unorthodox and intriguing design. A hallmark of YWA Studio, the team’s explorative design is showcased here via the fabulous futuristic 3D wall panel in metallic gold finish, a stunning backdrop along the restaurant space. This stylish and bold statement piece is a refreshing break from the typical oriental-inspired restaurants. The spellbinding space is realized with surprisingly minimal materials via a creative meld of elements, textures, and colors to create a one-of-a-kind multi-sensory dining experience for the guests. An art gallery is provided at the back to feature original works by regional artists.
